A trip to the hospital can be uncomfortable. As children, we all have been scared of being patients in the hospital. However, for others, the fear didn’t merely go away. Individuals who suffer from this extreme fear face rise in blood pressure, especially whenever they visit a hospital. This excessive fear is called Nosocomephobia or hospital stress.
I used to have this fear when I was a kid. I didn’t know what it was back then, and I didn’t know how to cope with it. Therefore, I would like to reach out to the children who have suffered the same fear as I did or maybe worse.
The name Ouch Pouch was inspired by the main causes of the emergence of hospital fears of young children, fear of pain.

When it comes to children and hospital anxiety, there is no fixed tactic or one surefire solution. However, I believe we can improve young children’s’ hospital experiences by combining a variety of solutions.
